Millay Arts is opening its first-ever exhibition of Visual Arts alums! Featuring a selection of works and mediums (painting, drawing, sculpture, video mixed media) by 15 of our talented NY State-based artists, this exhibition will be open from May 23 until June 21, 2026 at Time & Space Limited, Hudson.
The exhibition takes it title from Edna St. Vincent Millay’s poem “Afternoon on a Hill” (which captures a bit of what happens while in residence at Steepletop) and showcases the diverse gifts of our alumni.
Opening Reception
Join us on SATURDAY MAY 23rd, from 4:00-6:00pm for the opening reception at the Time & Space Limited in Hudson, NY.
Readings and Musical Performances
On SATURDAY, JUNE 20th, 3:00-5:00pm, we will present Writing alums Sofi Stambo, Dominique C. Hill and Ryan Nourai, reading a selection from their works, along with a musical performance by Composing alum Will Lawrence.

I will be the gladdest thing
Under the sun!
I will touch a hundred flowers
And not pick one.
I will look at cliffs and clouds
