In June we hosted the first-of-many-to follow dinners with our current residents and Board members as a way to forge connection and build community. The Board members present — Pilar Mejia-Barrera, Melissa Slotnick, Ned Rosenthal and his wife Susan Fabrick, Jeffry Bailey — discovered aspects of life on the hill while enjoying a truly sumptuous gourmet dinner (prepared of course by long-time chef/goddess Donna Wentzel) with a fabulous selection of wines courtesy of Jeff, Ned and Melissa and a jaw-dropping offering of fruit brought by Pilar.

Despite the 96 degree blistering heat of the evening, we dined and drank until dark hearing about projects and visiting studios.

We look forward to more of these monthly suppers and to welcoming supporters from the local community and beyond, who want to know more, as well as those who have never heard of Millay Arts. To be continued…
