Millay Arts and the Edna St. Vincent Millay Society Invite the Public to Experience Both Sides of the Historic Steepletop Estate

Join us and celebrate the season!

Our Fall Open House will welcome visitors to Steepletop, the historic estate of poet Edna St. Vincent Millay, home to both Millay Arts and the Edna St. Vincent Millay Society. This event offers the rare opportunity to explore the entire historic site in a single visit.

We will be offering two sets of tours of our buildings, grounds — including informal studio visits with our current Artists-in-Residence — at 1:00 and 3:00 pm (each lasting for 60 minutes or so), in conjunction with the Edna St. Vincent Millay Society’s Open Days (10/10-10/11/2026).

Between the two campuses, visitors are invited to gather under the tent for music, refreshments, light seasonal snacks, and conversation — a celebration of the artistic community that continues to grow at Steepletop.

Millay Arts tours are free; but advance reservations are required.
