Help us help extraordinary creators do what they do best: create.

Through the gift of uninterrupted time and space in an inspirational and nurturing setting, works created while in residence enrich lives and communities around the world.

Millay Arts is a registered 501(c)3 organization; your contribution may qualify as a charitable deduction for Federal Income Tax purposes.

Since 1973, Millay Arts has hosted over 3,000 outstanding writers, poets, filmmakers, performers, playwrights, visual artists, musicians and composers to Steepletop – the home of poet and activist Edna St. Vincent Millay – to create works that would not otherwise have been produced.

Our alumni include many who have been internationally recognized as Pulitzer Prize winners, National Book and MacArthur awardees, Whitney Biennial participants and Guggenheim fellows. We collaborate with local and regional partners – including schools and other community organizations – to present singular and compelling educational and cultural programming together with our remarkable alumni and dedicated supporters.
