Zachary Harris was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is still trying to write about it. He holds a BA in Creative Writing from Carnegie Mellon University and an MFA in Poetry from Cornell University. His work has appeared in Bat City REview, Ninth Letter, Pleiades, and West Branch, and honors include a residency at MacDowell and a fellowship from Bucknell Seminar for Younger Poets. He currently teaches writing at the Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts High School, of which he is a former student.
