Virginia Terris passed away in Freeport, New York in 2012. Virginia was a Professor of English at Adelphi University and was an accomplished poet. Virginia’s poetry was published in The Paris Review, Confrontation, Hampden-Sydney Poetry Review, Hanging Loose, Long Island Quarterly, New Letters, Poetry East, and Southern Poetry Review. She is the author of PUR-R-R (Channel Press, 2001), The Metaphysical Raisin (Birnham Wood, 1996), and Folding/Unfolding (Birnham Wood, 1992).
