Susan received her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Montana State University and ran a professional theater company (The White River Theater Festival) for several years before becoming a consultant in systems design and organizational learning for non-profits in the U.S. and Africa for 30 years.
She has also written two novels, two memoirs, including, Into The Blue: A Father’s Flight and a Daughter’s Return, which was published by St. Martin’s Press, and the stage play Buen Camino: My Walk Through 540 Miles of Rain, Resentment, and Redemption. Susan also publishes regularly on Substack, ranging in topic from points of view about current issues, to essays about things of philosophical interest.
