Rick Balian is an award-winning, published playwright. Balian writes plays for adults and kids and families. Notable plays include Steal Away, The Living History of Harriet Tubman which The New York Times commended as “fascinating and poignant.” The REV Theatre of Auburn, New York recently ended a years-long tour in schools of Balian’s play The Keepers’ Voice, an interactive play about the influence Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) culture had on the Women’s Rights Movement in the United States.
