Nadya Volicer received a BFA in Sculpture from the Massachusetts College of Art and a Master of Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has created site-specific works for many spaces, including the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park in Lincoln, Massachusetts and Real Art Ways in Hartford, Connecticut, and permanent installations at Sheridan College in Sheridan, Wyoming and the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, Maryland. She has been awarded several residencies including the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha, Nebraska and the McColl Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, and received a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant. She lives and works in Boston, Massachusetts.
