Lincoln Michel’s debut novel, The Body Scout (Orbit), was named one of the Best Science Fiction and Fantasy Books of 2021 by The New York Times and one of the Fifty Best Sci-Fi Books of All Time by Esquire. He is also the author of the story collection Upright Beasts (Coffee House Press) and co-editor of the Shirley Jackson Award-nominated anthologies Tiny Crimes (Catapult) and Tiny Nightmares (Catapult). His work appears in The Paris Review, Strange Horizons, The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, Granta, NOON, and Lightspeed.
