Jill Bauerle brings an eye for the unlikely to her storytelling. Not to be underestimated, her old media skills—writing, reporting and interviewing—also inform her work. She has worked as a journalist and podcast and video producer for various publications and institutions, including the American Museum of Natural History. Her latest project is a true crime podcast with the New York City Police Department, “Break in the Case.”
A fiction writer in her spare time, Jill has received fellowships from MacDowell and the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation. Her essays have appeared on the website, Mr. Beller’s Neighborhood, one of which was included in the 2009 anthology, “Lost and Found: Stories from New York,” edited by Thomas Beller.
