James Rosenthal is an artist and writer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Rosenthal has a BFA in Painting from Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA in Painting from Syracuse University. Rosenthal has worked at Philadelphia Museum of Art, as an art critic for InLiquid.com, as a lecturer at Moore College of Art and Design and the University of the Arts, and, currently, as an editor for the Independence Seaport Museum in Philadelphia.
Rosenthal has recently exhibited at Pierogi Gallery and Ernest Rubenstein Gallery in New York City, and Rebekah Templeton Contemporary Art Gallery, Moore College of Art and Design, and at the Center for Emerging Artists in Philadelphia.
