Elizabeth Lara lives in Silver Spring, Maryland. Her poems have appeared in a variety of publications, in print and online, including The Mom Egg Review; Nasty Women Poets: An Unapologetic Anthology of Subversive Verse; Solstice Literary Journal; in the bilingual journal La Presa; and in numerous anthologies in Spanish. She would be delighted if you were to discover Happiness, The Delight-Tree: An Anthology of Contemporary International Poetry, which she co-edited with Bhikshuni Weisbrot and Darrel Alejandro Holnes. Her bilingual chapbook, Fire in the Mind / Fuego en la Mente, was published in 2019, and in the same year she curated the MER VOX folio, Soy Mujer – Latinx Poets of the Diaspora.
