Danielle Lazarin is the author of Back Talk: Stories. Her writing has appeared in such places as The New York Times, The Cut, Colorado Review, The Southern Review, and Literary Hub, has been performed on Symphony Space’s Selected Shorts and won recognition from the New York Foundation for the Arts and The Stella Kupferberg Memorial Short Story Prize. She writes the newsletter Talk Soon, for writers and readers who want to see an unvarnished view of the writing desk and the world through a writer’s eyes. She lives and teaches in New York.
