Cynthia Ross is an artist, writer, and teacher. She has lived in Vermont since the mid-1970s, coming to know it first through painting out in nature. Her work, painted in and around Plainfield, Marshfield, and Calais in the 1970s, reflect her developing relationship with the landscape, the natural world and Vermont life. She had an exhibition with poet Marjorie Ryerson at Jaquith Public Library in Marshfield, Vermont.
