Cristián Flores García holds an MFA in Creative Writing from UC Riverside. She worked as a freelance photographer until she discovered poetry. Her first collection of poetry was Diaries of a Brick Eater. Her poetry has been featured in PALABRA Magazine, The American Poetry Review, Spillway Magazine, and Connotation Press, among others and was selected for Pushcart Prize. She was born in Mexico City and now lives in the Southern California desert.
