Christopher Patton is a poet and translator interested in cultural seedbeds, visual and digital poetry, and thresholds of legibility. His recently completed book-length poem Dumuzi was published in Spring 2020 by Gaspereau Press. Video poems from his current work-in-progress, SCRO, have been exhibited at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts and the Whatcom Museum. His second book of translations from Old English, Unlikeness Is Us, was published by Gaspereau Press in 2018. He taught at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington until 2020. He now teaches at the University of Toronto and blogs at The Art of Compost.
