Christine is an award-winning Native Hawaiian screenwriter and filmmaker whose work is dedicated to exploring indigenous narratives and the enduring impact of colonization on Indigenous peoples. With over 25 years in the industry, her writing is driven by a mission to reclaim family histories and dismantle cultural stereotypes.

Her notable writing and producing credits include The Ali’i King (Writer/Director), Older Than America (writer/producer), and the upcoming Sweetgrass After The Rain (writer, executive producer). Walker’s work has earned prestigious recognition, including The McKnight Media Arts Fellowship for Screenwriting; The Excellence in Diversity Award from the Producers Guild of America, an Equity Award from Stanford University, and a Film Fund Award from Pacific Islanders in Communications.

In 2025, she furthered her commitment to the next generation of storytellers as a Visiting Professor of Film at The University of Utah. Her extensive portfolio also includes collaborations on award-winning films such as American Splendor, Life During Wartime, Howl, and The Turin Horse
