Barbara Unger published six books of poetry, a short story collection, and is the co-author of the nonfiction book, Bronx Accent: A Literary and Pictorial History of the Borough (Rutgers University Press, 2000). Unger has been a resident at Djerassi Foundation and Squaw Valley Writers’ Conference. Unger was a former Professor of English and Creative Writing at State University of New York at Rockland and is now retired and living in Tucson, Arizona.
