A playwright, producer, new play nurturer, and educator, Ari Roth is the Founding Producing Partner of Voices Festival Productions, established in 2021. He served as Artistic Director of Theater J from 1997 through 2014 and founded Mosaic Theater Company of DC immediately after his controversial exit from Theater J. On November 18, 2020, Roth stepped down from Mosaic to return to a more generative role within a theatrical outfit and pursue a more personal, dialogic and intercultural programmatic vision in partnership.
