Amanda Bauer is an accomplished photographer, filmmaker, and designer who enjoys good stories. Amanda is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, raised in San Francisco, California. She holds a BFA from California State University, San Jose, is a graduate of the International Center of Photography’s General Studies program, and has an MFA from CalArts. Amanda has exhibited her work in New York and California, and has also had a solo exhibition at the Museo de Arté Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. She is a recipient of the Director’s Fellowship Award of ICP. Amanda lives and works in New York City, where she teaches the History of Photography at Parsons School of Design at The New School.
