Alyse Rothman is a technical writer and a playwright and director based in New York, New York. Rothman has written and directed various plays and films, such as Drowning Crow (2004), Phenomenon (2003), and The Laramie Project (2002). Rothman founded the theater group Nerve Ensemble which presented her play Phenomenon at the HERE Arts Center. Rothman has a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater and Drama from University of Wisconsin–Madison.
