Allison Jeffrey received her MFA from Columbia University in 1989 and has held artists residencies at the Ucross Foundation and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Before her current position as Assistant Director of The Italian Academy for Advanced Studies, Columbia University, she was employed at the National Museum of the American Indian (Bronx, New York) in Collections and Archives, assisting with repatriation efforts and preparing for the museum’s move to Washington, DC.
